Beep beep lil' tonka truck
When she was little and was just learning to walk backward I would say "beep beep beep" as if she were a little truck telling everything to stand back! Baby coming through...and BACKWARD!!!
This morning we were in the bathroom getting ready and decided to leave the room. She turned around and started walking out backward saying "beep beep beep...."
Good Night little baby
I joke that the sign of an attachment parent in the home is that the child takes care of her baby dolls like they are real babies. Some little girls even pretend to breast feed their dollies. While River hasn't gotten that far, I was hanging out with her last night when she took one of my shirts and put her dolly to bed in the dog bed with my shirt as her blanket. She just kept patting the baby and kissing its head and cooing at it. Then she'd stand back and watch the baby and do it all over again. I told myself I needed to take mental snap shots of those moments. She is so sweet.
