Christmas 2014
River was scared of Santa for a long time. We must have spend about 4 hours at the mall that day discussing, watching other children, crying over, and debating sitting on Santa's lap. After all that, and being the great guy he is, she took a wonderful photo with him. She had created a Thank You card for him because he had given her a stuffed reindeer when she saw him last year, plus for all of the things he left for her under the tree. Talking to him about the card helped a lot. She asked for one thing all season long and so she knew exactly what to tell Santa when he asked what she wanted. A Merida Horse (from the movie Brave.)
